I used to live 30ft from this place around when it opened and it was insanely inconsistent and flavorless/not good at all after trying 3 different times. wrote it off for years but recently gave it a try again and it was very solid.

If OP is being as specific as I’m reading it, Francesco’s is not a pizza restaurant where you can sit and be waited on. It’s a counter service pizzeria.

Their food used to be good when it was sold at the point tavern. Really not so good anymore, and over priced.

I don’t think this internet image is accurate whatsoever in saying providence is the 4th most expensive in the country. There is no way it is more expensive then San Fran,LA etc. There are 1beds that pop up in hot pads for $1000-1100 all the time in providence. Of course a few years ago it wasn’t even close.. I lived in a 1 bed on Doyle Ave for $700 a month in 2019. I’m not saying there isn’t worse deals then what you got… I’m just saying it isn’t good. Stay where you’re at if you like it. I’m lucky because my landlady isn’t raising rent but I pay ~$1000 for a 2 bed in prov currently.

Tbh I only had it once recently. Got 3 different things and they were all excellent. The wings really were the best breaded bone-in I’ve ever had. Kimchi pancakes and slaw were bangin’

Agree that the atmosphere is odd and the staff doesn’t seem that great, but the food is top notch.
