I could be totally wrong, am not brown, RISD student, or asian. but I imagine college hill area has a decent asian population? I love walking around that area because of the historic feels and I definitely see a lot of asians.

I don’t know much about the bar/club life here, but Cafe Choklad is a cute cafe in college hill and I always see asians there! best of luck though!

don’t listen to them OP PVD is a very beautiful and welcoming city! i’ve lived up here for about half a year now and i’m seriously considering making it my permanent home once I graduate!

I’ve been home for christmas break for a while now and I miss it up there :(. very excited to return again this week thank you for the beautiful picture op!

yeah that’s my biggest fear. i’m not local so if I get tossed, I have no where to go. do you think it’s worth asking? rive only rented a little bit but i’m a good tenant, I always pay rent early or on time, I don’t cause issues and keep to myself.

then please enlighten me on what a good deal is for a 1 bedroom in the 4th most expensive city per rent, my lease is only one year and i’m not leaving prov next year lol, i’ll take any advice I can get 😂

I currently rent in smith hill and surprisingly don’t get hammered with rent lol. I pay $1600 a month with all utilities covered and only pay for my wifi, pretty lucky deal
