We got legal weed, no law to remove the snow from the top of your vehicle, and we can pass on double yellow. And I think we might even have more lax gun laws right? NH has...no helmets on motorcycles and no seatbelts required? Whose more free really?

Commercial building is absolutely fucked right now, I'd imagine residential is as well. I'm a youth rock climbing coach and I've been waiting for a new climbing gym to open here in the Upper Valley (Lebanon NH) that I am supposed to work at. They budgeted high for construction knowing it would be expensive and their lowest bid was fucking $2 million over what they were expecting. Insane. I don't know any more specifics about their budget but I'd imagine a climbing gym built in Lebanon NH in a normal economy a few years ago would cost less than a million so this must be around triple their budget. Now I get to wait even longer for my job :(

10 years ago living in Burlington with a house full of people into drinking. We would have massive bags of cans and bottles for redemption. It would net us like $9. Wasn't worth it then and that was before the economy was absolutely fucked.

Its been like this a few years now. I remember when CO first went legal it was a huge deal at the airports. They had places to drop off extra weed at the entrances and TSA were definitely checking for it. I dunno when it changed but I personally found out sometime around 2019 and started flying with it since then and have had no problems, even up to half an ounce on me. And I've even flown to and from TN with it so its not just legal states.

Bruh. We are so fucking stupid. So let me get this straight lol...they legalize weed without legalizing the sale of it over 4 years ago. And at the same time they allowed you to legally grow a SHITLOAD of weed, like way more than personal consumption AND track it by members of the household so a house with more people can grow even more weed. And then these people growing it start selling it themselves to their friends and family because they have so much of it. So now we have 4 years of well-established local growers and a well-established street market and they offer us dispensaries that can't even compete with the well-established local growers/sellers. LOL just so fucking stupid. My guy even lowered his price when the shops opened, by a significant amount. Why the hell would anyone go to shops now? Its just gonna be tourists.

Anyone know if prices/quality are more like MA or more like ME? I just figure since the state has been fucking idiots about this before it was even made legal that its probably going to be shitty like MA. ME and the shops out west actually can compete with street prices while offering better quality and even some insanely high quality stuff that is more expensive but actually worth the price increase. Also in some cases they can beat street prices with sales/clearance deals or just from buying "shake" in bulk. I got an ounce of shake in Denver for $80 and it was more than just shake, had little berry-like nugs. Lasted me months.
In MA you're paying significantly more than street prices for quality that isn't necessarily great (when compared to dispensaries in good states like ME, CO, WA, OR, NV). I mean I haven't been to an MA shop in about 2 years but back then it was just an awful experience compared to the ones I've been to in CO, OR, and NV.

Lol they are flipping back and forth between "Jericho is tiny and has no amenities" and "Jericho is the size of Burlington (or at least Rutland)"
Like so they have no taxis and train station, but apparently the mayor of Jericho is so powerful the mere mention of him scares the Sheriff and they have a fair lol.

Wrong references too lol. He said "theres a station in Burlington its half an hour away" There's no train station in Burlington, its in Essex Junction and its probably 15 minutes from Jericho lol

I'm 33 in the Upper Valley and it feels like potential friends just don't exist for me here. Its all either Dartmouth kids I'm 10+ years older than, junkies who couldn't get out of the UV after high school, and people either married with kids or just with kids in general. Oh and I forgot the maga rednecks too.

My guy just went from $75 quarters to $65 quarters to compete with the shops. Sounds like he didn't even need to do that lol. Also sounds like we're going the shitty MA route on fucking insanely high taxes and prices for only decent quality. Meanwhile Maine and the entire west coast have shops with the highest of high quality and its cheap as shit (well to be fair top shelf is usually still expensive but you can get the lower grades for cheap as shit and its as good or better than black market/MA shops).
Some deals I've got out west are an entire ounce of shake for $80 in Denver (and it wasn't really shake it actually had little berry sized nugs) and a top shelf quarter on clearance for $35 in Bend, Oregon.
Meanwhile last time I was at an MA shop I bought 5 .5 gram joints and a slice for....$135. Ridiculous.
