The interstates are usually your best bet in a storm.

April is mud season. Many hiking/biking trails will be closed. Stick to paved roads.
But most of all, don’t come in April. Sorry.

Yeah what does OP mean by “visit”?
This is like asking for a list of all the wood siding houses in VT so they can visit.
What are they expecting to do? These houses are mostly private properties.

I’m surprised by this too. I’ve never owned chains. Only see them used on tractors.
I think some towns prohibit use of chains because it tears up the road.

Well I will address the public transportation question: there are buses in the Burlington area. Not in Stowe.

I agree it’s a unique little museum and adds local flavor.
Not sure what “pretentiousness” the other commenter was referring to. Anything you can tour in a couple minutes can’t really be that pretentious. My kids enjoyed it back in the day. I took them to that museum, walked the trails in the park out back, then went to Snowflake Chocolates around the corner.

That museum is so tiny they would only be bored for 10 minutes. If that.

I’ve never smelled sweeter air than in Vermont on an evening in June, when the clover and milkweed are blooming.
But yeah, why are you asking a bunch of non experts when this information is probably available online?

Please be aware that if your unleashed dog trespasses on someone else’s property and endangers their livestock, they have the right stop your dog from doing so, whatever it takes.

Thank you! My friend’s dog was mauled by a much larger unleashed dog this weekend. The unleashed dog’s owner said “but my dog has never done anything like this before!” like that would make a difference.

Don’t understand the downvotes. This is a good suggestion. Cochran’s is not a ski resort but it’s a great place for kids to learn to ski. Bolton is where local students have after-school ski programs.
