I'm from eastern PA and my husband was from the Pittsburgh area. He didn't know the word. I thought it was just him. I had no idea it was regional.

People around here pronounce it like mu-CAD-um.

>Because of the historic use of macadam as a road surface, roads in some parts of the United States (such as parts of Pennsylvania) are often referred to as macadam, even though they might be made of asphalt or concrete. Similarly, the term "tarmac" is sometimes colloquially applied to asphalt roads or aircraft runways.[22]
I've always referred to blacktop or asphalt as macadam. I didn't realize this was just a local thing (Pennsylvania).

Honestly, I would've been there. I was a sucker for an overly scented boy.

I didn't eat pork and kraut on New Year's Day in 2020. I'm really sorry, guys. I didn't think things would get that bad.

You're absolutely right. And while we're at it, let's keep in mind that not all Republicans are voting for Mastriano and Oz. My husband and I used to cancel out each other's votes, but in the past few years, that has changed.

I'm registered democrat and my husband is republican but hasn't voted for a republican in a few years. We don't get the same political junk mail. He gets mail from the republicans and I get it from the democrats.

The Fall Foliage Festival is held on Saturdays and Sundays, so I think it'll be much less crowded on a Thursday.

Not to over share, but these things felt so damn good after giving birth. Everything gets swollen and sore. Your partner in baby making will appreciate having these. Congratulations and good luck!
