There's a shortage of mental health workers everywhere. My BSL gets me an automatic $5k sign on bonus as upwards of $85 an hour pretty much anywhere I want to go around where I'm at.

Yes! It's the added butyric acid added to chocolate that makes it taste like vomit.

Hearing a Republican claim that a Democrat is not listening to the people is so laughable that I can't tell if this post is an attempt at trolling.

Reply to I’m a PA mom who is suing my children’s school district over this shocking curriculum by dissolutewastrel
I've been working in schools for 11 years at this point and honestly these Karens are the worst. They think they are helping and all they do is hurt their kids. Even though I, as a BCBA, have some, uhhh, disagreements... with SEL, it is still a valid and effective means of teaching kids fundamentals that parents simply do not do anymore. If your kid comes to school as a turd, prepare for them to get an education. Teaching your kid that they are entitled and a victim only sets them up to fail later in life when they arrive in a relationship or job unable to relate or function in a real world environment.
Parents like this are the reason schools aren't allowed to do anything fun anymore.

As long as the temperature doesnt drop to freezing or below, its a total waste. I'm gone all day, so for me to run one space heater in a bathroom for 30 mins, and another in my home office for 4-5 hours an evening, and all weekend have saved me a ton of money.
If the temps drop to below freezing for more than a few hours though, fire up that oil burner, cause paying for oil is WAY better than paying for all new plumbing!

I have an older house using oil heat. Few winters ago was paying $600 a month in oil to keep the pipes from freezing.
Bought two $40 oil filled radiator heaters to use in the 2 rooms I'm in, and a little $20 space heater for the bathroom when I take showers.
I save about $500 a month in the winter now.

Yeah have to admit getting my LLC and everything necessary was pretty easy and cheap, and getting all my state licenses lined up with it was very straightforward.

Hasn't ignoring the will of the voters been the GOP playbook for like 70 years now?

Yeah the ad they're running here in Lancaster has been the interview with the guy saying Fetterman has voted in line with the police like 85% of the time, and that Hollywood celebrity Oz has no idea how crime and the law works.
fenuxjde t1_it5moiq wrote
When the heads of the chiefs of police associations, a traditionally republican demographic, came out to endorse Fetterman, that should have been enough to end that talking point. Yet here we are.

Probably, but that's a bit outside my area of expertise. Maybe asking on a professional forum about that in PA may get a better targeted response than asking about that job on a PA forum, if that made sense.
