Maybe I'm the weird one, but I hate trying to buy something on my phone. Unless it's something that I already know that I want (and it's that exact one that I do want), making comparisons and reading reviews is much harder on a smaller screen.

If they can identify and locate the whale's pod quickly enough (typically within a few days of separation) there is a chance. Otherwise, it has to be a captive until someone figures out a better way.
