I'm not a student, no. There aren't any easily accessible recycling dumpsters particularly walkable from where we live either.

Ah, so the responsibility is on us tenants? That's rough. 😓 Thank you though.

I've been to Freeplay multiple times and didn't realize there was a dance floor upstairs. Thanks for shaping my weekend plans!

345 by Plant City has both cocktails and mocktails. It's definitely not a club vibe though.

The exact building I used to live in is on Apartments.com, actually, if you want to give them a try. 2B is still $1k/mo. Idk what your timeline for moving is though.

They are definitely not the greatest landlord, but, coming from Boston, they absolutely are not the worst either -- at least from a building maintenance perspective. They also don't charge pet rent or ask for a pet deposit, which is a rarity. I rented at $1k/mo two years ago, and now I'm currently renting a different 1 bedroom for $1.1k/mo near College Hill.

Walter Bronhard units are usually pet friendly. My old Hope St basement apartment (1 bed) was $1000/mo. If you don't want to live in a basement, though, you probably need to look further away from the city center.

Plant City has a lot of good (vegan) gluten-free options. They have a big menu that is very accommodating to different food restrictions.
Heng Thai Rotisserie is also amazing -- any of the rice noodle dishes should be gluten and dairy free! Probably my favorite restaurant in PVD rn.
Xaco Taco uses corn tortillas for their tacos, and they have a non-dairy cashew crema they can substitute for cheese/sour cream! I took my gluten-free sister here the last time she visited and she loved it! This place is definitely a little on the casual side, though.
Hope this helps! 😽
