It's not much of a difference, but it's an important one of emphasize. International pressure combine with us regulations makes it impossible for them to do anything other than what the they did once known. Private war profiteering is close upon us already. Let's not blow the dam apart completely.

Indeed... that's why we have lines that are clearly defined and don't lead to whataboutisms...

No, eaponized drones aren't the same as Intel. One kills outright, another leads to killing. You can't supply the thing that is coordinating the killing, unless your the government that is.

You know how illegal it would be if he didn't do what he did? It would make him an Arms Dealer. A space arms dealer. Thats the only reason why he stopped them from linking drones. Because international law forbids it. Morons.
P.s. you realize musk and Russia compete right? And that he is their number 1 competition to a monopoly they've held for a while.

Reply to I am very conflicted on Elden Ring by [deleted]
I wouldn't buy it. I am a die hard souls fan and if you aren't ready to play a souls game it's just not valuable. That said, i love those tyoed of games. I hate platforming but love hollow knight. Souls games are brutal as is hollow knight, but the games are more than the difficulty. It's the atmosphere and tension that the game builds solely thru a couple of mechanics. It's hard to explain, but if you are going to play for only an hour a day It's probably not going to be very fun or easy. The game is itself one giant puzzle. Fights are puzzles, the world is a puzzle. Nothing is very easy but if you are perceptive you can learn from those encounters quickly. If you, "get good". And it's really.that simple, the game is easy once you aquire the skill, but hard without.

Reply to Can someone give me a quick summary on why Witcher III is so universally loved, and why someone who knows nothing about it should play it? by selway111
It's isn't. I don't like it but I only played the 3rd and barely got thru it b4 moving on. It's similar to gow recently where it's cinematics more than solid gameplay.
It felt like more video than game.

You ain't understanding what's being said. Yes your coordination with keyboard and mouse is a problem, but not as big as fromsofts inability to make a good format for playing their games.
Use a damn controller for fromsoft games if you are new to k&m.
Also for how to get pretty comfortable, and I hate saying this because of where the company has gone in the last 10 years, but diablo and starcraft were great for keyboard and mouse training early. It's simple to use and will get you comfortable with it while having fun. Diablo 3 reaper and starctaft 2 v bots just practicing timing attacks.

Just remember kids, last week this woulda gotten 10k upvotes.
Now 10 million plus people are done playing their first playthroughs and pretty much everyone agrees... it's good, despite its performance issues.

You mean the theoretical physicist Sean Carroll? Remind me what that field entails again? Observations? Or maths that may or may not have application within our own universe? You have literally no idea what you are talking about. Until you do, don't come with a YouTube video that baits pot heads into thinking they are growing...

Galaxies are the same everywhere. Those galaxies we just found from jwst are surprisingly well formed for that early tho. Which means we are missing something or over/under estimated are models of expansion. But these images are far more precise than before with near infra-red observations. So where before we were just drawing the outline of our portrait, now we are starting to fill in the details. It's more precise, and more likely to miss perfection. That's never bad though, the best parts of science are the anomalies.
And the universe isn't very different actually. It's surprising uniform in temperature. And when modelled with respect to the cosmic microwave background radiation, our universal distribution of galaxies looks like what would result from those very tiny temperature fluctuations early on.
The physics didn't change, the temperature did... allowing for more advanced elements to be created. The temperature changed because of inflation and the dissipation of energy resulting from that expansion. Heat is basically just the friction of things bouncing into each other. So the more room you have, the less things will hit each other, and as a result, decrease temperature. The universe atm is 2.7 Kelvin and its only getting colder... very, very slowly. Weird thing is, the universe is still inflating, and even wilder, that inflation is accelerating.
My favorite quote on fiction... make believe has to be believable, reality rarely is.

Just because math allows for a thing doesn't mean we see it represented in our universe... and yes the laws of physics are absolute to our entire observable universe thus far. When we see something that doesn't aline, it's because we messed up something, not that the universe is changing itself.

His implication is that we could go to another planet and the physics could be different. That's fundamentally untrue. Constants like how the electroweak force changed to electromagnetism and weak force? That fits into our theories of physics as is.

Hollow knight if metroidvania is your thing. Also a.masterpiece and the most consistent complaint people have is they feel like they should have payed more for the game.
Grounded if you, like myself, wondered if you could survive a Honey I Shrunk the Kids type situation... and like crafting survival games.
Project zomboid is always a good choice. As is any souls game. Or sekiro. Or bloodborne.
