You can go to a career link office and just wait to speak to someone in person on the spot.

I like how they say they are testing it in Bucks county, then right below is a link to a news article titled “there are two millionaires to every 1 homeless child in Bucks county”. They don’t really mention how much the tax credit is for but it sounds like people with cushy jobs in nice areas are about to earn their companies money by working less.

I mean, you probably want to avoid Perry County…. But it’s going to be house by house, block by block just about everywhere. One corner of my street the house says “TRUMP WON” and the opposite side they have a “hate has no home here” sign.

I bought two off of the street a year ago. Turns out they need a ridiculous amount of care, and they are expensive to own. One already needed a surgery 🙄. I wonder if any of the other babies have survived from that day.

Honestly I think fighting a marijuana charge would have been cheaper and had a better chance at being successful. The DUI you get for refusal is so expensive and you can’t fight it.

Yes. My son went through this, the cop wasn’t satisfied with the clear breathalyzer at a routine traffic stop and wanted blood for weed. He refused and has to get a fucking interlock in his car and spent multiple years suspended over the whole thing.

You could report all of that and it’s still not going to disqualify you, that’s well below federal poverty. Don’t actually report until the things have happened, I.e. he has received one payday or a lease is signed.

Everyone I know is freaking out about usage. We recognize the price went up but why would usage jump for every single customer to beyond anything they’ve ever used before? We are having an extremely mild winter.

But I already have to work a part time job just to get by. I didn’t get hired to go to college, I think it’s disingenuous to say it’s okay to not have a degree then treat you a different way because of it once hired.

They hire you but they don’t promote you and tell you that your lack of degree is holding you back.

I’m pretty sure giant changed their meat markdowns to a 33% max when they started that app for last chance food. :( I used to shop on Mondays when they tagged the meat.

Agreed, they tend to leave the least expensive option off of the instacart page. I can never get regular eggs on there, no parm cheese.. it’s a thing. In person is way better.

The prices at aldi are well worth the effort. They don’t sell like.. brand name stuff but they have almost everything you could need and you can get your specialty stuff elsewhere. Their meat is a little higher than giant family pack prices, but literally every other thing is cheaper by far. Produce is extremely cheap there and good quality. I always start my shopping there and finish at giant for meat/loss leaders. Make sure you are loading the giant coupons online too, they often have some good ones.

My neighbor would leave his car double parked all day long, one day I had enough when my kids were almost hit by a school bus going around his van. I called the police, they called me back a while later and the car was still there so they came out. They knocked on his door and he came out in his underwear, the cop screamed at him and he has never double parked ever again. It was an every day thing here for a long time.
