The difference in premiums is significant and replacing a 2008 vehicle with another 2008 vehicle isn’t going to result in a $500/month car payment. The payout from the insurance company for an old car minus the deductible isn’t going to be as much money as you think. They will depreciate the fuck out of that car and you won’t have too much to show for your increased premium.

I don’t understand why grown men in dresses and garish makeup want to read books to kids and I don’t know why school administrators think it’s a good idea. Are there no women available? Like actual women. They make up half the population so I’d imagine you could find a woman who could do the job. Are men the only entertaining people in outlandish clothes?

15 is a nice drive. 81 sucks but there are some nice views as you go through Schuylkill County (starting around MP 112). You can jump off 81 at McAdoo (rt 309). Follow 309 south for a short stretch then turn left at the first light. You’ll be on Ben Titus/Quakake Rd. That will take you to Weatherly. Follow signs for White Haven and you’ll be able to pickup RT 940.

Ben Titus/Quakake Rd is really nice. It’s a mainly flat and straight road that runs through a narrow valley.

Adding some more… take the first exit in PA off of 15 and head north on Emmitsburg Rd. That will take you straight through the battlefield and into the town of Gettysburg. Travel through the center of town and follow Business rt 15. You can follow that up to rt 394 where you can jump back on 15

Here’s the route. Godspeed

LEOSA exists mainly for state and local police to carry off-duty or retired in all states but that has limitations. It’s fairly new and federal agents were carrying all over the place prior to it being enacted.

She was carrying under 6106. LEOSA doesn’t enter into because she’s legally carrying under PA law. She’s carrying legally by being a duly authorized federal agent. She is a duly authorized federal agent 24/7/365 until she separates employment

PA does not have a buffer on school zones. That was the purpose of referencing 912. Federal gun free zone law says the buffer is 1000ft but people can carry within that border if states allow it. PA only excludes the actual property of the school from carrying. It does that through 6106 and 912 because 6206 authorizes people to carry and 912 has no buffer.

The federal agent wasn’t carrying pursuant to LEOSA. She was carrying under 6106. The federal gun free school zone allows states to license individual to carry in those areas. PA law allows people to carry in those areas pursuant the Uniform Firearms Act. Firearm possession on school property is covered under section 912 of the PA crimes code. There is no distance buffer in 912.

Your claim that Philly is a gun free zone is dead wrong. As is your claim that she is covered only on duty. Section 6106 has her covered.

PA has the Uniform Firearm Act which establishes firearm laws for the entire state to include Philadelpia. Philadelphia is not gun free zone neither in law or in practice.

6106 (2)(b)5 allows federal agents to carry concealed anywhere in the state.

Also, LEOSA doesn’t require officers to be on duty. Among other things, it allows retired law enforcement officers who by definition can’t be on duty to carry concealed anywhere in the US.

I don’t think that was accurate now or 20 years ago.

This is the statute that allows for limited statewide jurisdiction for municipal police officer (Philly PD is a municipal PD). There are no special carve outs for Philly or first class cities.

She's not talking about acid rain. She's talking about vinyl chloride getting into the ground water. The threat of acid rain is gone.

https://innotechtoday.com/chemicals-from-ohio-train-derailment-spark-concerns-of-acid-rain/

>Acid rain could have formed after the controlled release and burn of chemicals on Feb. 6,” Kevin Crist, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering and the director of the Air Quality Center at Ohio University, said. “If it did form and fall, it would have most likely occurred downwind of East Palestine.

>“There would maybe be localized problems, but once that plume is gone, it’s gone. Unless it’s sticking to a residue.”

And the expert you cite is saying the same thing. These chemicals are short lived in the atmosphere.

Good idea but I don’t think PA waterways will be greatly affected. The waterways south and west of the site are of greater concern. There’s a divide that runs through PA. Everything east of the divide ends up in the Chesapeake, everything west heads to the Mississippi then the Gulf.

There’s a triple divide point in Potter where the watershed of the Mississippi, Chesapeake and St Lawrence seaway meet.
