Reply to ACLU says it could take legal action over Saucon Valley School District rescinding approval for After School Satan Club by Modestkilla
I for one wish the club was actually about satanic worship. These knuckleheads that were calling in threats don’t even realize it had zero to do with that. It would take all of 30 seconds to google what the club is about. Anyway I hope this club comes back and most importantly hail satan.

Reply to comment by defusted in In pre-Roe hearings, Pa. women described their anguished, resolved search for an abortion by FrederickChase
Same, never in my life did I expect to be with someone who needed an abortion, but my wife just did.
We are trying to have a second child, but unfortunately we found out there were a multitude of issue with the baby at around 13 weeks. The issues, including heart, neck and head malformations were caused by a chromosomal translocation.
If the baby made it to term quality of life would have been extremely low, and they would likely only live a few days or at most a couple years. We made the not so easy decision to end the pregnancy.
It was bad enough in this state, the doctor had to read some legal documents, had to offer to show us photos of fetuses, wait 24 hours, and sign paperwork saying that we understood everything. I could not imagine what others have to go through in some states. And forcing someone to go to term like that is simply pure evil.

Yeah I have no idea, I make pretty good money so we can some what afford it, don’t like it, but can pay it. I have no idea how middle class families and lower are surviving right now.

I got a bill for two months, they forgot to bill me, $950 in the past I was paying in the $150-$200 range. On top of that I’m paying around $600-$1000 a month right now for oil heat. Shit is completely out of control.

Lmao i didn’t say I couldn’t afford it, but I already pay more than my fair share in taxes why should I have to pay even more for roads that should be paid for by my taxes?

I have to pay $13 a day in tolls to go to work. It is absolutely insane.

I might, it is up to $12.60 a day for me to get to work and back. It’s not like I’m driving into freaking New York City, it’s really insane.

Depends on what kind of vehicle you are in . We use to have a rav4 and it didn’t feel very stable above 85. I’ve allegedly had all our current vehicles over 110 and they are super stable.

Reply to FYI: PPL is Increasing their Electricity Rates by 18% to 14.612 cents/kWh on December 1st. This is up 53.78% YOY. by giggles-mcgee
I make a pretty good living and honestly things are starting to get out of hand. I have no idea how an average person is going to be able to live soon. I have a family of 3 and our utilities and food bills have doubled over the past year, but our income went up around 15% . Not sure what needs to happen to fix this but our government (democrats and republicans) don’t seem to be doing shit about it.

You think that is bad, we have oil heat would be a cool $5000-$6000 in oil this winter. Our saving grace is I got a wood insert over the summer so I plan on using that as much as possible, hopefully knocking a grand or two off that.
