The gray area is when companies or governments say to the employees, “Use your personal phone for work and we will simply reimburse you $XX per month”. Can those people have TikTok and other social media apps on their phones? If the answer is no then a lot of employees will likely say they want a work-specific phone (along with their separate personal phone). Then employers are going to have to purchase a lot of new phones which is more expensive and more work for people who purchase, disseminate, inventory, and repair/replace all of those phones. So, banning TikTok and social media from employee phones is a significant decision.

I was going to mention the free charger from GMP too. We got an EV too and got the free charger. For OP, here’s a cost to keep in mind, if your current electrical panel is maxed out and can’t handle the expansion of a 240 volts charger, you’ll have to pay to have a new panel installed. That happened to us. Plus, our panel was in the basement and opposite corner of the house from the garage. So, it was a long way to run the wiring. Our total install charge was $3K.

We are on our second EV and love it but it’s a possible cost to keep in mind if finances are tight for you.

I live in Montpelier in a neighborhood off Terrace Street (upper left corner of the map) that was developed in the 50s and 60s. It’s not even on the map as anything other than woods.

And the tower of Hubbard Park isn’t on the map; which is a local landmark.

So, lots of changes are possible over that time.

The first Saturday in May is Green Up Day. Folks collect the litter that strewn along roadsides, in parks, on public lands, etc. There is usually an organizer in each community who can provide you with green trash bags. With those bags, you can fill the bag and leave it along the side of the road. Someone will come along later to collect those green bags. Or you can just use your own bags and haul it away yourself. Regardless, it’s a great community event that tidies up the state ahead of summer.
