And that’s the other struggle. The last seven years, I’ve been a rural mail carrier and I am stumped on any transferable skills I’ve picked up.

It’s a shame what the mail service has become. It used to be a very respectable job. Heck look into banks, I know tellers starting at $21-$26/hr

Pretty positive UPS pays way more than FedEx. Not sure what FedEx gets but all UPS drivers make Over 6 figures after 4 years

Edit: not sure what FedEx gets because it's an entirely different system where rich people buy routes and trucks for FedEx delivery and then subcontract out the work to people willing to do it and pay them less than it's worth. Meanwhile UPS is a single system and a union with negotiation power.

I work at FedEx. Some are making $2000 a week others $800 a week. Depends on the contract.

Oh honey working in a restaurant is WAYYYYY better than being a rural mail carrier. Yes, I've been a rural mail carrier. I've also worked for UPS and I've worked in restaurants/hospitality for 15 years.
