Reply to Adderall? by fourposterity

I take this medication as well. Some drs are willing to adjust the prescription for example instead of one 20 mg tablet, two 10 mg tablets. Some drs have no issue doing it, others do. Best of luck!

When I lived in cranston i had this issue. I was over by the Cranston parkade. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason for it. Waste management always insinuated it was somehow my fault, much like everyone else here said they were out on time not over flowing nothing blocking them ect. I stood outside once and waved at the driver and asked him if everything was ok with my cans ect and told him what was wrong he comfimed all was good and never had an issue again.

I'm sorry that you are having such difficulties with your child's School and education. A parent's rights and children's rights should always be handed out at these meetings at least I always got them. On more than one occasion I would have an off the record chat with one of the teachers or teacher aids from his class throughout the years. There have been occasions where I have had to have a consultation with a lawyer and the lawyer types up and sends off a letter saying that they are representing the parent and student it's enough to show that you mean business and get things done at least in my experience. The bottom line is every school and every District as a whole gets x amount of federal funds per child with an IEP or 504 if you threaten to take away that funding nine times out of 10 things will be done the way they should. And I know that that shouldn't be the case but working with in reality that may have to be the case.

The school is required by law to provide children with services regardless of where they came from in terms of previous placement. The early intervention my son was part of was not part of Warwick's his was private I chose to do it and outpatient home-based.

I think public school as a whole most places are what you were describing as the wait and watch and fall behind before services are offered or suggested. I would suggest having if you don't already some type of home based Services as well as independent testing so you can go to the school with the diagnosis and the potential help of a therapist and say this is what my child needs can you meet these needs? If not what placement within the District can support their needs and then go from there out of District. Another thing to note is the differences between an IEP and a 504 plan. And how that would suit your child's needs. I know with my child's IEP I wanted Transportation included because if he went outside of District I would have to transport him and I couldn't. At one point he was going to a school in Wakefield RI, and we lived in Warwick.

I can attest to Warwick and only specific schools and people however my son is 15 and Warwick has made amazing accommodations for him during his whole school experience since pre k. Also if your child's IEPs needs cannot be met within the District of the school they can go out of District meaning anywhere in the city or town or even outside City and town. RIPIN is a great resource. If your child has any services such as therapeutic outside of school they could help you advocate. Feel free to Pm

If the custodial parent receives any type of state benefits, the order often includes making the state "whole". At this stage theres no profit its just paying it back. Down the line there may be interest and enforcement and some profit.

My son and I love Ollie's! Its fun because we get to enjoy something from my childhood, with a spin. It's kind of like other stores great deals on some stuff not on others. Half the fun is spending time wondering the aisles and finding the most obscure item you didnt know you needed!

I think the good driving record is if you've had a clean record for 5 years.

Honestly it seems like if youre not going 70-80 (sometimes faster) on rt 4 youre not keeping up with traffic. I understand the speed limit, i get it. I moved to North Kingstown about 2 months ago and i constantly get honked at and hi beams flashed at me because I'm going about 60-65.

I experienced this just yesterday. I dropped my Gram off at the airport then went to Santander to deposit cash to her account. I was shocked when the lady at the drive thru told me the new rule. Never heard about it before this. Fortunately she did me a solid. Not sure what we will do in the future because i do this for her often.

Most cases/arrest result in "Own recognizance (OR), also called personal recognizance, means a release, without the requirement of a posting bail, based on a written promise by the defendant to appear in court when required to do so."

Cranston and Warwick have had training with mental health professionals. I know this from experience with my son who has mental health issues and sometimes displays violent behaviors. Im sure its different with adults, however same concept. From my understanding these kinds of programs and training were making the rounds to other departments. This training is happening because most of the times its PD first on scene. Gives them the ability to access the situation, see the needs and respond appropriately.
