No kidding? Having snow on your roof like this against the law big time in New Hampshire where seat-belts, insurance and motorcycle helmets are optional. Go figure.

Check out the New Hampshire Weekly Market Bulletin if you haven't done so already: https://www.agriculture.nh.gov/market-bulletin/index.htm It's a subscription only publication, but it's only $28 and you'll find it useful if you are going into farming.

You should cross post this over in r\NewHampshire sub. Judging by the comments, they get a lot of hikers including the White Mountain volunteer rescuers .

Reply to Best heating oil company to use? We need kerosene but can't afford $7/ gallon at the company we called. New to this type of heating and kinda struggling to figure this out. Company says minimum of 100 gallon order. Our tank is 275g . 275x7= omg in gonna freeze to death. by [deleted]
Buddy, I hate to tell you this but, at least in New Hampshire, the statewide average is $7.27 / gallon. In other words, you’re getting a good deal. Try googling “kerosene prices near me” to see what the average price is in your area. Also try googling “Vermont fuel assistance 2022” ; they may help depending on your family size and your income. Good luck.

I hate to tell you this OP, but real Vermonters don’t ski. Getting all het up about FRESH POWDER is the penultimate sign of a true flatlander.

Dan & Whits, Exit 13, I-91 North in Norwich VT. Make sure you get into the back area - the part that looks like your grand-dad's old garage. That;s where they keep the best stuff.
