The owners of the charter schools also tend to have a separate company that packages curriculum, then uses the tax funding they siphon from the public school district to buy the curriculum packages from themselves.
Check out Vahan Gureghian and CSMI.

Calling back to this because I just thought of something else: if you’re planning on getting married there you should check out the Proud Mary. It’s an old paddle boat that is pretty cool. I’m sure they could accommodate a wedding ceremony/reception and it’s right there on the lake.
Good luck!

Lake Raystown Resort) has a little horseshoe of lakeside villas that I’ve used for huge family gatherings in the summers. There’s like 25 of them and they comfortably sleep four people each.
Pretty affordable off season.

This is a solid take. You can’t even go on a weekend anymore without being a member and scheduling a reservation a month in advance.

I was wondering for the last few years why so much gets spent on political ads until I was watching a football game with some neighbors and the commercial with the serious gravelly voiceover saying Fetterman wants to let all the murderers out of prison came on and one of the neighbors was like “Oh my god! Is that true?”
Then I understood it completely. They keep spending the money because it works.

It’s the kid from Nome he couldn’t save. Balto spent the rest of his life haunted by that kid, wishing he could have been just a little bit faster.
