I live on the east side of town, but had the occasion today to drive on Saw Mill Run to a location in Overbrook. I just wanted to say God Bless those of you that have to drive that road/area every day. I think I will need a day to recover.... so narrow... so much traffic... so many windy, steep, narrow streets in Overbrook! 😅

I used to live in an alley-facing house in Overbrook that we were considering buying cheap from the guy we were renting from because he just wanted to sell and walk away from a few of his properties. Our winter there convinced me nope. Talk about a terrible place to live when the weather isn't perfect.

I just moved back to Pittsburgh after being in the south for 20 years and I haven’t really had an opportunity to drive in the snow in forever and I had to drive there and then back to into Carrick and thru the slopes. Talk about a good reintroduction to driving in the snow

If you can drive in Pittsburgh you can drive anywhere.

This was a logic behind the self-driving AI startups.

Unfortunately, it turns out that cars suddenly derping out for no reason at 70 mph on the highway might be an even bigger problem.

I had to drive 51 daily several years ago. The traffic and near accidents were nothing compared to the frequent shutdowns from floods.
