Yea so I watched the next episode and yes, her lie detecting does seem to be becoming more nuanced than how they portrayed it in episode 1. Very cool.

I watched the first episode and really liked it. I’m someone who really only watches Columbo and Murder She Wrote and Matlock so I was nervous but I heard someone say that those shows influenced Poker Face so I gave it a shot. My only gripe with it is that I wished they played down her lie detecting ability a little bit. Of course now that I say that it was interesting watching the killer try to deal with her when he knows that he can’t tell a lie…

Definitely worth a watch! I really liked it, it’s more well done than it seems at first glance.

Is it really money if it never circulates 🤔?

Season 1 is the first low point, then in season 2 or 3 you reach a high point, then it hits all new lows the rest of the way.

You can smoke if you’ve got it but there are no shops that are technically legit yet. They haven’t gotten around to granting the licenses yet.

Yea I’m pretty sure that’s what’s going on. And that’s why the guy really didn’t have the money in the bank, because maybe the feds could seize it easier that way. But Stallone’s point was that just keeping it in the safe really isn’t a solution either.

I think the point he was trying to make to the dispensary owner was that this might be “legal” on a state level, but on the federal level technically they could come in and shut you down at any moment. Like even if not officially, you could get some crooked federal officers coming after you half a million in the safe or something like that.
