The main thing I remember was that because the perpetrator hit people in the head from >1000 feet he must have been a highly trained sniper, probably military. As if you could fire over 1000 shots into a crowd at any distance and not hit people in the head.
I didn't get into an argument about it because I was halfway through a haircut and didn't want to have to get up an leave halfway through, but it was a pretty stupid take and I think he was doing mental gymnastics to steer the conversation toward anything other than "how's it working out to let every nutjob buy 20+ rifles?"
You know the deal, it's too soon, stop trying to take advantage of a tragedy to try and do anything about our gun problem, meanwhile it'll always be too soon to talk about mass shootings because there will always have been one last month.
Edit to add: the standing around with a shotgun about COVID shutdowns didn't surprise me too much. Bummer though because it was a convenient location for where I was living at the time.
Edit 2: on second thought I think the shotgun posing was an Instagram post, separate from the protest that other people have mentioned

I've had my hair cut there before and got to be a captive audience for the owner sharing his opinions about the Las Vegas mass shooting, so personally the social environment isn't one I'd pay for.
The stylists are nice, but I liked Hive better.

We never had any maintenance issues that we needed them to fix, so I can’t vouch for responsiveness on that. But also, we never had any maintenance issues that we needed them to fix because the apartment was in decent shape.
I can say the elevators were each out of service multiple times in the year I lived there, it’s got two but a pretty long walk around between them. Living on the ground floor meant we avoided that regardless.
Got the entire security deposit back as well.

There were a lot of dogs in Strouse Adler (PMC Property), I don't remember huskies specifically but it didn't seem like there were restricted breeds.
Not the most upscale building in town, but also not a slumlord like some of the big property companies in the area. Wooster Square is nearby and has a lot of people walk their dogs there. It's not a huge park though, a husky might be better off up near East Rock if you can find a place.

Mine was recovered, after the thief drove it into a pole.
Would’ve been cheaper for me if they hadn’t.

Unless you like a 40 minute walk on sidewalks covered with broken glass to go visit food trucks that are near some watery rocks and mud

Technically true but also not a description I would ever use to describe New Haven
