That's crazy such a high number, seems very little is being done to stop it. Only cops I see are on both ends of Newark's walkable section to stop cyclists which I get, but I don't ever see cops go on a walk or patrolling areas anymore by foot. They world see the craziness that goes so much better with a few just actually walking the street.

Lincoln park has a big dog run it should show up if you google it. Biggest I've seen and he/she would get a good run. It's fenced-in and also has a smaller little area gated off it. From the main part of Lincoln park, it's over the bridge crossing the US-9, almost by the Hackensack river. Little out of the way but it's nice and quiet the few times I've been over that way.

Seems like they had some kind of problem with the original floor and it all needed to be ripped out and totally replaced. I remember looking in a few months back and they completely ripped everything out and went down a good few feet.

I was just in there Saturday night for the first time and was busy the hours I was there from 11:30 pm until 1:30 am. Hookah was good, I didn't ask but going from reviews I think they do charge a BYOB charge and some people do complain about the odd hidden change.

I wouldn't mind but with the traffic that hits Brunswick at from Newark ave to Christopher Columbus it's a busy street even at night. That's some balls to just jack up a car and strip 4 wheels on a street the cops very regularly use at all hours.

I've got an old giant escape which I lock outside. I can see it out my window and I've had to shout down at young teenagers I just happened to spot going past one night who saw it and came back pulling at it. My apartment is on the third floor and has a very tight carry up so I leave it there when I'm working in NY and use it to go to Grove St. I've had the seat and post stolen so now need to remove that. It's lasted the passed two years, depending on how busy the street is I think, putting them off a little. Having moved here from London I can say jersey city is more secure than there, it's crazy bad but then biking to work is definitely a bigger thing there are so much more bikes around. A good lock and be sure to secure the back wheel if not even both and cross your fingers

Thankfully I've not seen it around my way but I've no doubts it happens. That's a single lane for going straight too if I'm not mistaken that it's parked in, so if someone is in the left turning lane everyone going ahead is fu@ked lol. Surely that's a much bigger ticket than your average parking ticket??

No idea mate, but if it’s as easy to think someone literally just rocked up and parked in the middle of the road like that and walked away, surely it’s as easy to think they could have broken down and just left it there without hazard lights and walked away. Whichever way it went down that’s crazy I’ll tell you that, I’ve never seen anything like that if it’s the parking in the middle of a very busy road story. That’s completely nuts lol
