This only works if you are the same socioeconomic class, religion, political ideology, ethnic group, and sexual orientation as most people around you.

Mainers who are 18-35 generally move to Massachusetts to hookup, find relationships, and eventually marry. When they are ready to spawn they swim back to Maine and then lay eggs.
Also, I have many friends with interests similar to yours, and you gotta understand this: it will be inherently hard for straight men who like anime and video games to find a gf and it will be inherently easy for straight women who like the same things to find a bf due to gender demographics of these hobbies.
If you want to find a mate, keep your current hobbies, but *add new hobbies*, especially ones that are mostly done by straight women. For example: fashion, sewing, cosplay, knitting, crocheting, equestrian, animal rescue.

This isn't enough. If governments were serious about making child raising less burdensome for young adults, it would be $12000 per year, per child, for everyone making $400,000 or less per year. Plus free cosmetic surgery and laser scar removal for new mothers. Plus vouchers for night nurses. Plus incentives for childcare professionals overseas to immigrate here. Plus free community college. Plus 1 year of maternity leave and 1 year of paternity leave.

I disagree with the private school thingie. Private schools are not bad, as long as they don't receive any funding from the government.
Charter schools are as bad as private prisons and defense contractors because they are corporate welfare.

I think it's the income inequality more than poverty.
If it were poverty and low education, you'd see more homicide in Sub-Saharan Africa than Latin America.

I feel like it doesn't always. If you compare Southeast Asia to Latin America, they are at similar levels of socioeconomic development yet Southeast Asia is far less violent.
Bhutan is a great example of a poor country that is not violent.

I'm not a member of the body positivity movement. In fact, my views on BMI are more similar to the average person in Japan than the average progressive Westerner.

If Kacsmaryk bans mifepristone, which when taken in combination with misoprostol is the safest form of abortion, we should not feel compelled to follow any American law. The laws of Maine are more than enough to ensure a successful society.

You guys have higher obesity rates, lower rate of education. You're less likely to listen to classical music, or to have travelled abroad (being deployed in Iraq doesn't count).

I think it's also ok if the parents are no longer together. I heard of a female celebrity who got pregnant, and was originally going to keep the pregnancy and raise the hypothetical child with her boyfriend together, but then he cheated on her and they broke up.
It's better to have an abortion than to raise a child in a split up family.

I would like to see this study replicated with paid actors who are Latino, Asian, Native American, Pacific Islander, etc. My instinct tells me that appraisers treat these homeowners just as poorly as African Americans, but I would like to see data.

It's curious that white supremacists love to bash African and Latino Americans for poverty, low education, family breakdown, welfare dependence, and crime.
And in the same breath they bash Asian and Ashkenazi Jewish Americans for being "too interested" in education, employment, not using food stamps, and having stable nuclear families.

So trans is a subset of intersex people. Specfically, transgender people were born with the external genitals of one biological sex, but the brain structure of the other biological sex.
A simple brain scan can determine transgender status for people who think that they might not be cisgender.

Every single trans man I have gotten to know was someone I assumed to be cis until they said they were trans.
For whatever reason 90% of trans men pass but 90% of trans women don't pass. I have probably walked past at least 5 or 6 trans men in my lifetime and not even noticed that they were trans.
