If they still have open spots, check out Orale (either location). They do a really good job on NYE (have been 2 years previously). I think it was like $125pp for all you can drink + full dinner.

2nd this! Lots to do for toddlers. Last time I went we saw the Sesame Street show, Wobbly world, played with Magatiles, looked at animals, and played in the Dino dig (although a bit cold out now for that).

As others have said, lots of moms groups on Facebook. I never used Facebook before having a kid but then I created a throwaway account just to stay updated on kids things. Totally worth it.
