Olympics are definitely big and beijing was fine regarding the conditions. But overall globes are definitely valued the highes in skiing.

A good chef bases the cook on temperature and temperature alone. With good technique and enough resting, it‘s possible to achieve a medium cook without much grey around the edges

Look how even the cook is. This had plenty of rest or was cooked below 100 degrees celsius. The juice either comes from resting, or from cutting. Even with rest there‘s juice when you cut meat, because you are damaging the cells.

That‘s still just wrong. I think it was a travesty, that Beijing of all places hosted winter olympics. But the conditions on those slopes were perfect. The slopes the pros ski on are all made with lots of „artificial“ snow. If anything, the snow was quite aggressive, as it often is in Colorado, where Shiffrin is from.
The slopes in Cortina 2026 will be made with man made snow as well.
