Reply to Here is my watchlist for the end of March and April of 2023 on the road to 150 Movies of 1983. by VestronVideo
Nice project. Reminds of what another Letterboxd user, PUNQ, used to do when he'd watch everything from a given year.
I've seen a little less than half of what you've listed and liked All the Right Moves and Strange Brew the best.

It's so weird to me that some people don't see this. You'd think the setting and time would make it rather obvious.

Not really. Some disturbing imagery/scenarios but it's more odd than frightening.

Netflix has one that gives them access to Sony movies once they've left theaters. Not sure how long its good for though.

Reply to Should video game directors be talked about in the same sphere as movie directors? by OfficalNotMySalad
Maybe. I honestly haven't played enough games to really say. AAA game cutscenes tend to be a little much for my tastes, those from Kojima especially, but I'm sure there are game creators out there who are experimenting with the medium in interesting ways that are just as creative as film.

Something like 45-50. I try to go every week.
Elvis, Triangle of Sadness, and The Banshees of Inisherin were my favorites.

Castaway on the Moon is my favorite. It's a rom com about a guy who survives a suicide attempt only to get stuck on an islet in the Han River.

Reply to Favorite movie snack ? by Miserable_Mess5903
Water, possibly a coffee. Maybe some peanuts or some Cheez-Its to tide me over if I'm there when I'd normally be having a meal. I'm really not much of a snacker during movies.

Meet Bill? It came out in 2007 though.

Reply to What would you say is the best experience of a 2022 film you saw in theaters? by FutRaheem7
Yeah, Top Gun would be up there. I sat in the front row and could feel the jet wash through the subwoofers. Not the best movie I've seen all year but it was definitely a unique experience. Elvis was another memorable outing.

The Hills Have Eyes. Original. Make it an early Wes Craven double feature with The Last House on the Left.

Wouldn't have been the first time, either.
