We all and I mean all got it in January. 14 people at the party, 14 victims. Probably the most intense vomiting I’ve ever experienced and keep in mind there was a time in my life when I regularly played Edward Fortyhands

When you do The Line, you’re overwhelmingly likely to get where you want to go. When you reject The Line you probably won’t (and then we have to rescue you). Don’t make driving in snow harder than it needs to be.

It is, the one shown right at the beginning of the episode.

It’s not marble, but you can always come up to Isle La Motte and explore the old Fisk Quarry, which is filled with fossils. Neat spot.

I can’t stop thinking about that situation in Alburgh, not so much the brawl itself but the multiple students who needed hospital care after “punching walls” when it was over.

Well put. We don’t travel quite as south to visit family but there are nightmarish Peachtree Cities all over America these days, so what you said really resonates. Welcome home!

Thanks! Glad to meet another landshark caretaker. Hope your boy has some good years to come! Ours is snoozing on my boot at the moment, until of course the slightest thing happens that he has to protect us from.

Yep, he’s an Australian cattle dog. He nips at every single falling flake, prancing around like the happiest creature on the planet. Loves it here.

If you’re going to Lawsons you’re just 20 minutes to Waterbury (you likely will pass by on the way to/from Burlington anyway). Waterbury has a great brewery called Freak Folk but also two dynamite places to eat - Pro Pig and Blackback Pub. The latter is my preference, with real good food and one of the best tap lists in the state. Definitely a must stop.

Reply to Why can't vermont tax Airnbn by Old_Ad_1301
All of the Airbnb owners in our area are full time Vermont residents. In some cases it’s even their primary source of income. These owners use a host of local tradespeople to manage their properties. Their visitors come and spend liberally at locally owned and staffed stores and restaurants. Banning airbnbs, or jacking up taxes so as to make it prohibitive, would kick a lot of your neighbors in the ass. This is not always an outsider issue.
If we are in the midst of a housing crisis in Vermont then the state should be battling for its people. Start by offering massive incentives for builders to increase the supply of affordable places to live. Affordable, transitional, subsidized, the state should cast a wide net. It is absolutely possible to balance very real environmental concerns and there is plenty of space.

Check your deed to see how the easement is described. They’re almost always limited in scope (for example, automobile ingress/egress to a neighbor’s landlocked property) and it’s highly unlikely that that scope includes political signage. Once you verify, pull the sign out and give it back to your neighbor. It is very common for easements to get confused with public land, that’s almost certainly what happened here.

Reply to Did you know, Burlington had the highest number of homicides in decades, after defunding the police? No surprise there at all. Thank god it was reversed. So question, do you believe it was actually a good idea to defund the police? If so why? Pros and Cons. by [deleted]
Who got defunded? Their budget was still nearly $20 million dollars annually. Teachers and other municipal workers are forever told to do more with less, so why wasn’t that good enough for police?
Irrespective, I’d double their their budget if most of that money went to continuing education/training and they gave up qualified immunity.
