Unique display, good use of color and gradients. Communication very clear and intuitive.
Really got people discussing nuances right away which I think is a great measure of success.
Nicely done!

Data unclear what you are measuring
Land to % covered by trees? How is Forrest defined?
This display does not lead to answering or generating questions to a problem. My questions are all about what us being measured.
Some suggestions. Color has been covered. Yellow to green would make the graphics pop.
Be precise in your labels and add notes as needed. Take time to figure out what the data is communicating
I have data that has to give both the count of the widget and the percent per day of hiw many times the minimum widget count was met per day. Took me a long time to figure out how to label clearly.

Estimates based on a model vs actual numbers is a forecast or an estimate... a best guess scenario.
This date is guessing this us how many lives the shots might have saved.
I live a good forecast but estimating hiw many people didn't get killed is a bit of an odd thing to measure.
It's also interesting to me that all flu deaths were covid related for about 2 years.
Always verify and question the validity and methodology of the date collection.

The devil.is in the details. Research 'assets' these are basically non interest bearing notes to the US government with no guarantees. This is part of what funds deficit government spending each year
