North End Dental on Elm are great.

There's been so little new construction over the last 10 years and population has grown. New developments in progress but the crunch makes people desperate and the scams easier as a result.

Moxy is also great for tapas around the corner

In Manchester for sure. There's a pretty big drop off in "fancy" atmosphere in town from there if that's what matters most.

There's a charming Italian spot at the bottom of Elm St, too.

I had no idea. We went there a year ago and loved it. So cozy.

The Bookery is also downtown but they don't have used books as far as I know.

Golden Bowl by the stadium has Vietnamese dishes, may not be 100% Vietnamese though.

Hotels are pretty expensive in town, but The Tru is new and not horribly expensive.

The tree street rule of thumb is kinda BS. It applies to a part of nearly every tree street, but not the whole thing.

I bought a house on a tree street and a bunch of locals looked like I just signed up to die.

It was great for 5 years and my neighbors were lovely.

Further up the hill on Hanover has some really lovely neighborhoods too.

Manchester is doing good and the source of most new units. Surrounding areas have old density rules which makes large buildings on cheaper land impossible. Zoning is the issue

Totally agree with lack of development. Zoning needs to be addressed. It's just not specific to young people, though. It sucks for me too :).

It's mirrored in private institutions and higher ed.
