I like bookpilled which is heavily into sci-fi. Shades of orange is also decent as she goes into sci-fi, horror, and horror sci-fi as well as fantasy to some extent. They barely discuss YA especially bookpilled.

Don't know. I am not looking to connect as some do. For me as someone who loves sci-fi, and fantasy I just want escapism into a complex fantastical world, or a future that may or may not exist. Maybe female authors don't delve enough into topics you are interested in hence your push towards male authors who do.

Kindle. Limited space, and I have issues with throwing books out, or selling books. Sometimes I want to reread my books. Should I then buy a new one, or wait for a sale. Nah. Library can be good but If I want to read a book, and it's not in that specific library. Why waste time going to another Library. Makes my life easier. I am also not romantic about print books. It's a book, as long as I can read the story. That's all that matters to me. I buy books on sales as well. Plus it works well for someone with limited space.

Don't count me in on this. This is one of the few times I have no issue with monopoly because Microsoft can only improve Activision. I should also add this isn't a monopoly. It's an oligopoly. 1. No. It was meant to represent Trotsky and considering Orwell was quite sympathetic to them since he was in a Trotsky brigade when he was in Spain. I doubt he made it that snowball came back. Rather it was used by Napoleon (Stalin) to use force, and restrict the animals control. Considering that Orwell viewed Stalin negatively, and paranoid this does seem to be the implications.
