The noise complaint is due to the fabric exterior, not the down itself. I suggest you go in person to a store and touch the comforters yourself so that you'll like its exterior cover. Also would suggest you check out some of the down alternative comforters, so of these have an exterior that may be more to your liking. If you're able I'd suggest checking out Costco/Sam's Club since you've all ready spent so much on one. Invite me to your yard sale when you find the one you like! Best wishes.

Reply to Can you help identify this sheet material? It's literally one of grandma's old sheets, it seems to have a thread count of about 150, but the most important thing is the weight, it's 240gsm, twice as heavy as anything I can find online. by PrettyGazelle
Old school home economist here, that appears to not be made of cotton but made of linen. Linen is made from the plant that grows flax. Yes it will feel heavier. To be certain it would need to be tested. Are there no tags on the sheet? I suggest you find a linen sheet and compare it. Best wishes to you.

Sure it does, you need to go to the higher end of the LVT or LVP but it does great. Unless your dogs are bigger than mine, he was 86 pounds. And a collie so lots of fur. Best wishes.

Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring is very durable and used in a lot of commercial buildings. It will withstand mopping and can still look very nice. Wood-look planks. They put these in new houses even. Best wishes for your new home.

Bone ash and % are not accurate ways to judge quality. While Corelle is very low priced dinnerware Wedgwood is some of the most expensive on the market, and is rarely used daily. Are you planning to never use a dishwasher? Or put this into a microwave? Many patterns cannot go into either. Part of why these are expensive is because of how high maintainence their care is. So many patterns contain lead that is sealed under finishes that don't last and cause exposure to lead. I use Polish pottery or newer Fiestaware but while these are safe and without contaminates they aren't thin bone china either. Lead safe mama has a lot of tested dish patterns if you want safe durable dishes.

i've actually been a user since 2003 branded as a Sears Kenmore HE3t. I think it is Miele, it was made in Germany. Very high quality machine that has served my large family very well. Issue for me is its capacity is 3.5 cubic feet and the Mieles sold in the USA now seem to be much much smaller.
