Reply to Why does Rhode Island College have such a negative reputation? Is it that bad? by PinkSwallowLove
I’m at RIC right now after transferring from URI. So far I really like it here honestly, it’s quiet, and I can kinda of go anywhere on campus and not be bothered or have a line to go get anything.
URI definitely had life there with D1 sports, and events/concerts. But it’s also easier on the bank account here at RIC. I regret going to URI out of the gate after doing 2 years at CC because I’m $21k in the hole rn on loans. But I also miss the social life there if sports, etc.
But RIC definitely is not bad at all

Reply to comment by derpbeluga in Is it possible (or rather, realistic) for a broke 25 year old to (assuming he gets in) attend URI without incurring a single penny of debt? by PinkSwallowLove
I remember i did the 1+2 at ccri and started in 2018. thought I had the discount for URI once I graduated from cc in 2020, come to find out my CCRI advisor lied to me and never checked me off for the program even though we had 2 meetings about it….. so that’s was fun lol
Hopefully OP can get the 1+2 offer and save big on it

Reply to Does anyone have any recommendations on a good veterinarian in RI? Preferably one that’s not afraid of pibbles and bullys by Low-Dragonfly-5352
There’s a newer vet that opened a couple months ago in north Smithfield across the street from Cumberland farms that I’ve heard good reviews about.
Idk how long the wait time to be seen is though unfortunately
