Well, it’s just my experience, having a 4 year old that I worked very hard with to overcome some delayed learning and speech problems, at these early ages, it’s mostly luck of the draw when it comes to them being gifted. It’s a lot about identifying strengths and weaknesses and addressing it. That’s the work. So if your kid needs more work in the basics, that’s what you’re addressing, if your kid is gifted you need to find an environment that excels that gift.
Basic 3k and 4K is very simple stuff, but it’s important and really good, a lot of it is socialization. And that’s kind of easy.
So this person has a gifted kid, and that’s awesome and she’s doing a great job addressing that, but the truth is 3k and 4K isn’t the problem for her, she needs to find the right environment to hone and develop her child’s talents. That’s not a public school problem especially at that age.
Now when we get to middle and high school I agree with. But of course we can never ignore a parent’s involvement in their kid’s development.

You’re most likely extremely fortunate as your child is far ahead of the curve.
That’s mostly likely a reflection of you having a gifted child and looking for a specific school to advance her gifts than the school curriculum for 3 and 4 year olds.
Probably need to correct your focus there.

Would you kindly describe the standards you are striving for? I don’t mean to belittle 3k or 4K but we’re talking about colors and letters and drawing and creating.
What are you desiring in these programs?

It’s the only thing good de Blasio did. I’m not sure where you live or you’re just angry, but my daughter was in 3k and is now in 4K, it has been absolutely great for her and the family.

City council has to blame someone. That’s what they’re paid for.

Lol no, I’m debating the practicality of such an idea. And that the idea would do far more harm than good. Anarchy vs corrupt events like this dude not catching a menacing charge, I’ll take the later because anarchy would do far more damage.

I ask you how does a city go about hiring 32k new police while also firing 32k police, you respond with a whataboutism.
Who is training these new police officers?
What are the requirements?
What is the pay?
Who is the new chief?
Who is the new commissioner?

They should not be fixing cases. We are in agreement, as to where and how you simultaneously fire and then hire 32k people, I think you are in magic land.

Lol so just turn NYC into a complete lawless land of anarchy?
How can I wake up one day and live in make believe land?
Is it drugs? Is it copious amounts of alcohol? Is it just brainwashing by only reading the edgelord manual of 2023?

After he refused to comply with lawful ordersfor 12 whole minutes. He absolutely did not die from that compression to his neck, he was breathing and talking after that half assed “choke hold” was enacted. There’s an entire video for you to watch. The guy was morbidly obese and decided to fight the cops after being asked nicely for 12 ENTIRE MINUTES TO COMPLY. Unfortunately his heart failed him. No one wanted him to die. It sucked. But he had no reason to not comply with lawful orders for 12 minutes. Sorry dude. God bless.

I don’t need to. Manslaughter just means it wasn’t by natural means. And clearly deciding to fight the police isn’t by natural means.

No, cause of death was heart failure brought on by intense physical struggle after decades of health neglect. No one forced Garner to be morbidly obese and refuse lawful orders for 12 minutes.

You can disagree all you want, the Garner situation is absolutely nothing like Floyd or the current situation. That’s a simple fact. That choke hold was about as lethal as a toddler w a water gun.
