There are more than 300,000 Quakers active today all around the globe.
There are exactly 3 Shakers active today all living together in Maine. Their names are Brother Arnold, Sister June, and Brother Andrew.

The bottom of those steps should have a drain. Ideally that drain would connect to a French drain system and a sump pump. You need an inspection and you need to ask these questions.
