I used to drive several times a month Woodinville to Bremerton.
Rush hour affects ferry's too.
Driving in rush hour was faster than waiting for the ferry. We rarely took the Seattle to Bremerton route. But, depending on timing, the Bremerton to Seattle made sense sometimes. Especially since driving required a toll for the bridge.
The ferry system make more sense going to south Whidbey.

If you want to use it on three vehicles, you will need to buy two passes.
You can't use one pass for three vehicles. And to be perfectly clear, you can only use one pass for one vehicle at a time.

Looks like 30 days to me. They can only take 60 if you don't have state ID.

RCW 9.41.070 Concealed pistol license—Application—Fee—Renewal. (1) The chief of police of a municipality or the sheriff of a county shall within thirty days after the filing of an application of any person, issue a license to such person to carry a pistol concealed on his or her person within this state for five years from date of issue, for the purposes of protection or while engaged in business, sport, or while traveling. However, if the applicant does not have a valid permanent Washington driver's license or Washington state identification card or has not been a resident of the state for the previous consecutive ninety days, the issuing authority shall have up to sixty days after the filing of the application to issue a license. The issuing authority shall not refuse to accept completed applications for concealed pistol licenses during regular business hours. RCW 9.41.050 Carrying firearms. (1)(a) Except in the person's place of abode or fixed place of business, a person shall not carry a pistol concealed on his or her person without a license to carry a concealed pistol. (b) Every licensee shall have his or her concealed pistol license in his or her immediate possession at all times that he or she is required by this section to have a concealed pistol license and shall display the same upon demand to any police officer or to any other person when and if required by law to do so.
