Protip: For all US-based carriers - If your flight is cancelled or delayed more than two hours for any reason, your are entitled to a refund but you have to ASK for it as airlines will usually offer you a credit first. Be careful though as the refund will go back to the Original Form of Payment, which if you went through a travel agency could be their card or electronic check, so if you booked through a TA like Priceline, Expedia etc go to them first and request the refund. They will try to push you off onto the airline but what happens far too often is the airline will see the ticket as refunded and consider the matter closed, and good luck getting your money back from the TA at that point.

Also: Airlines are only required to offer you any sort of compensation like hotels, food vouchers etc if it was their fault they canceled, ie mechanical issues, crew exceeded Federal mandated hours etc, but if the flight canceled due to weather or something like traffic delays (happens in large airports like JFK, ORD, LAX etc) then that is considered out of their hands and no compensation other than getting rebooked on next available flight or full refund are offered.

Finally: anyone who purchases a Restricted Fare (economy basic, saver fare etc) or spends 400 bucks or more/is traveling with a family or overseas and DOESN'T get trip insurance with trip interruption coverage in this day and age are just stupid. Go through you home/medical/car insurance company instead of the airline directly and you'll get a better deal, usually 25-30 bucks/person depending on the price of your ticket/destination. It will cover not only the cost of hotels, food, clothes and personal items but the purchase of new tickets on another airline if what the company you booked through doesn't have better options available. Ask all those poor souls who spent Christmas stranded by Southwest feel about having to spend thousands out of pocket just to get home. Seriously it's worth every penny.

Top 15 Original Streaming list, and it was the at the very bottom at 15, behind The Boys at number 11. Look at the money Amazon spent on production and promotion, plus the number of built in audience because of the IP they were adapting, and then tell me again how failing out of Top Streaming completely and crawling into Top Original Streaming 4 spots behind another Amazon title with a fraction of the budget and promotion is somehow ANYTHING for them to brag about.
Yeah "real data" is important, but only when pair with context.

Because he is likable, funny and he always has on a good mix of guests. He's the only thing I watch on that channel, but something I appreciate about him is a lack of any mean streak unlike his contemporaries. It's a trait I appreciated in John Stewart as well... even when "slamming" a guest for a stupid comment, he delivers it with affable humor that lessens the blow while making people laugh at the comment instead of the person giving it. Something that's been lost in modern society is the ability to confront an idea instead of the person sharing it. The former opens up new debate and thought, while the latter ensures cessation of both. A good moderator knows this, and if nothing else, Guttfeld is an excellent moderator.

Keep in mind motherboards these days have a lot built in compared to older boards. 150-200 bucks for a well equipped board isn't that much of an ask, and it's been 8 years since I built my own rig.
Anyway, other than the SSD I would buy everything used anyway. Why pay bleeding edge prices when everything is going to be "obsolete" in a couple months?

I just spit water all over my iPad. Well received by WHOM? DnD fans were trashing it even before the OGL apocalypse, and Normies have been as indifferent to it as any other late winter/early spring release.
Opening weekend might not be horrible thanks to Chris Pine fans, but after that it's toast.

So far my only real complaint is how F'ing annoying Ellie is. In the game she had her moments, but she wasn't the constant downer TV Ellie is turning out to be. If I were Joel I would have ditched her ass by now. Plus it's just bad storytelling, as Ellie being pretty upbeat despite circumstances is what eventually starts to wear down Joel's defenses and gives the later scenes where she has to face reality and come to grips with just how shitty everything that's happened up till that point really was such weight as she overcomes and pushes through to save Joel. Druckman is already draining the impact of that role reversal and character growth moment.

>My hunch is HBO pushed the diversity changes and strategically chose a woman of color as the face of the project (instead of the white male creator) so that they could be shielded from any critiques.

Yeah... *glances at RT/IMDB/Metacritic score* that isn't working out real well for them, just like it hasn't for everything else lately from RoP to Witcher Blood Origin to Willow. Maybe it's time to rethink that strategy.

And to answer your question, 1) people really don't like Mindy, and 2) that Velma comes across as a shameless self insert for Mindy makes it easy to ignore the valid points you made regarding who is to blame for the low quality of the show itself.
