Definitely not Carmen Electra - for one thing, she would have only been 15 when this picture was taken.

Reply to My favorite car: 1974 Datsun 260Z (1983) by edmanet
My dad almost bought one of these when I was little. In the end, he went with something else because our local Datsun dealer wouldn't budge on price.
Several years down the road, one of my uncles bought one. His was a 2+2 with an automatic, but 11-year-old me still thought Uncle Jim's car was pretty neat. And that was actually one of a few sports cars Jim owned. My mom has a picture of him somewhere standing in front of his TR-3, and I also got to ride in a first-gen RX-7 he owned. Many, many years down the line, I got to return the favor by taking him out for a spin in my Miata. At the time he said he was thinking of buying one.

Not many people seem to be aware that the classic lineup (Halford/Tipton/Downing/Hill/this week's drummer) doesn't contain a single original member.

It's probably because I remember her mostly for her solo career, but in my mental picture of Lita she's usually playing a B.C. Rich. And of course she's in tight leather and her hair is teased to the ceiling.

She only got in because her boyfriend insisted they bring her on board as a condition of joining the band. :)
Not saying that Fleetwood Mac didn't benefit from her presence (they certainly did), but that is pretty much how she became a member.

It was briefly known as Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

You're probably right, but in this picture she looks fairly close to the same age the girl I dated in the '90s was at that time (she was 19 when we began dating). Also my former girlfriend had straight hair.

Funny you guys say this. I dated a girl for a while who looked like Sara Gilbert - but that was in the '90s, so it wasn't OP's mom.
