My experience was the opposite. I’m kind of done with overhyped AAA games and find more enjoyment and bang for my buck in hidden indie gems. I still love the occasional big title (RE4 Remake is my personal GOTY at the moment), but I no longer buy into the hype just because a big studio is behind a game. 😅

Yeah that’s part of what I wanted to dig into. I didn’t mention that in my original post, but yes, crossovers are obviously working to some extent or they wouldn’t continue doing it. It was just weird to me, personally, because I’ve never bought another game simply because of the crossover. 😅

I used to go all-in into analyzing a song’s lyrics. These days, not so much.

Reply to Best wrestling games? by ichuck1984
For some reason, every wrestling game since No Mercy have unnecessarily tried to reinvent the wheel. Anyway, AEW’s upcoming Fight Forever is supposed to bring that No Mercy style gameplay back, so… fingers crossed. 🤞😁

Avatar (the band, not the blue alien movie) just dropped their latest album last week.
I saw them live a few years ago and they put on one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. Not only is their showmanship on full display at their concerts, but they are phenomenal musicians to boot.
I’d like to share “The Dirt I’m Buried In,” a track from their latest album, Dance Devil Dance. It’s very melodic and catchy. It’s such a cool song. They’re a very diverse band and can do heavy songs with screaming or more mellow numbers with clean vocals like this one.

It was fun for me up to a certain point. I played through the end of the main story (before any major updates/expansions). I loved the exploration… every area seemed to be teeming with secrets to find and puzzles to solve. The gameplay itself was pretty smooth and fast-paced, and it was fun to experiment with different builds and characters. I played it for about a month after its initial release. After that, when it became a grind fest, I quickly grew tired of it. I know they’ve updated it since then, but I think I’m done with that game. I have things to do and don’t need another grindfest that will eat up even more of my time.
I know people hate it because it’s a gacha game, but I didn’t spend a single penny.
Predatory gacha bs aside, it’s an otherwise great game up until the point in which it turns into a grindfest. If you’re wondering if it’s worth playing, yes, it is. It’s free. You only spend what you want to, but I advise against it. Drop rates aren’t what they should be, and you can certainly make due with the characters that the game gives you. I did. 🤷♂️😅👍
