I briefly lived with oil heat and it was miserable. ~$400 every 3 weeks to barely keep the pipes from freezing. And the oil company was miserable to deal with, delivering oil we didn't order and charging us anyway.

Since then we've made oil heat a nonstarter for any apartment we look at. Unless the house is otherwise updated with modern insulation, windows etc. the oil is gonna be a money sink and not worth imo.

I did my test there in 2020. In addition to regular driving I had to do hand signals, k turn, back up in a straight line, and parallel park in a spot the size of Jupiter. Proctor was super chill. Don’t stress.

Roads are generally ok unless it’s, like, serious snowstorm territory. If you purchase a bike with winter roads in mind you should be ok in all but the worst conditions. On those occasions, probably worth the Uber.
