Who is talking about trophies? If I say I'm going to work out 6 times a week, but only work out twice a week, that's way better than zero times a week.

Someone missed the point. If I say I'm going to run a mile 3 times a week, and I only run once a week, that's better than not running at all.

It reminds me of the kid in class who contradicts everything the teacher says because they think it makes them seem smarter than everyone else. In reality they just look like an annoying asshole.
