Been summoned for jury duty in Worcester twice now, both times i purposely tried not to get selected by wearing regular casual street clothes and generally not trying to get picked. It succeeded both times and it winds up just being a morning of sitting around for 3 or 4hrs and then going home.
(I am a freelancer so I would receive no benefits from being selected and would be completely screwed financially if I had to be a part of a long jury process)

I’m not really an artist by any stretch but as far as I know Prov has one of the better art scenes in the whole country, especially for its size. You got RISD, basically the Harvard of Art Schools, a city/state that supports artists financially, and a result that creates a melting pot for creatives to thrive

I found a locator on Total Wine & More but idk I thought I remember seeing a site that tells you where to find it but I could be wrong. Might be thinking of Drizly, it always tells you where your alcohol is being delivered from and you can search specific brands to find it nearby

This is the one I was going to say, couldn’t remember the name but they have everything you could imagine

If you’re looking for something very specific, you should be able to just google the liquor and there’s a site/app that tells you the closest place that has it

Counties still exist in RI, but they just don’t do anything other than be a line on a map. MA is pretty much the same aside from a few counties.

Don’t have Boston Globe so can’t read. But I don’t see to much issue with the Native American here, I presume he is supposed to be a member of the Massachusetts tribe that the state is named after. Makes sense to me

It’s truly an atrotious deal if it winds up being a lengthy trial, $50/day is a joke in 2023
