They’re picking up speed
so are they just shooting these seasons all back to back to back? they dropped a S2 teaser right after the S1 finale too
Yes. They just filmed S3 and S4
Damn that's wild, awesome

i'm really digging the double seasons. it feels like a treat because typically you wait a while for a british show like this to release a season and you get 4 maybe 6 episodes.
This show is absolutely amazing. The cast is spectacular and the writing is excellent. I cannot wait for the next 5 seasons.
How in the world are they filming so fast? Severance came out before Slow Horses and season 2 might not release until 2024. Meanwhile Slow Horses over here is doing two seasons a year?
Less episodes, and they have source material to work off of would be the primary things
They filmed season 1 and 2 back to back. Season 3 and 4 they are filming back to back as well although taken a short break between 3 and 4
this show has been such a nice treat. Gary Oldman is great, the pacing is proper, a lot of things are not glorious, nationalistic bullshit, and the overarching story threads themselves are connected nicely between seasons.
Book 3 is my favorite, so I’m looking forward to next season.
sope dirisu in season 3!

how fast are they shooting these seasons?
also i didnt watch season 2 yet but does the girl from season 1 return that got shot at the first episode or so?
Its mostly just Gary Oldman eating and drinking, so its not super CGI heavy or anything.
Glorious chicken
> Its mostly just Gary Oldman eating and drinking
and farting
They film two seasons at a time. S4 is already starting filming in the coming weeks. The S2 of The Big Door Prize, an unreleased comedy show, has already started production. Foundation's S3 also starts filming at the beginning of the year and S2 doesn't even have a release date. Another season of Acapulco is already in production, with Apple not saying anything about renewal either.
> does the girl from season 1 return that got shot at the first episode or so?
>!Nope. No mention of her at all too.!<
really weird they wrote her out like that
I mean… the actress now plays the adult Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon so I wonder if schedule conflict?
Na she gets shot in the books as well.
Okay, she got shot on the show and the book, and on the show, she “disappeared” and left the hospital so we don’t see her on S2. Did she pop up in the books, or no?
That would ruin the surprise! And it is a good surprise.
Good to know! Thanks for the info. I love the show, I’ll put the books on my reading list.
Thanks for not spoiling anything
You are welcome. As someone who has read the whole series, I appreciate how true they are being to the books. As you continue into the books, there are lots of interesting threads that appear, disappear, and reappear. I highly recommend the book series just for the obscure angles that would be too time consuming for the tv show. The pay outs are epic.
Because I watched S1 and 2, I started on the books. They are terrific! I also recommend them to those that watch the series. Thank me later.
Not a scheduling conflict, tv show being true to book series.
jesus they are pumping this show out arent they? didnt the first season just come on this past spring?
It looks like they film the seasons back to back. That, small batches of episodes, and existing source material to work off of probably makes for a very efficient process.
This show is so good no idea why it's still under the radar.
This show is insanely good. Definitely one of my favorites of the year.

Very happy to see they have the next series ready to go again.
Liked season 2 a lot. Season 1 was very good, but 2 showed a clear improvement, very impressive
