I think they put it up on Peacock (if that's even a service that still exists).

Sorry personal preference but I'd prefer to miss all the commercials, and the unneeded commentary. I'd rather get to watch the parade just like I was there.

I watched the NBC coverage and listening to Savannah Guthrie mispronouncing Pokeeman isn't what I'd call good stuff. however having the commentators there to explain what the balloons and floats are is very helpful. There was a bunch of times I had no idea what character the balloon was supposed to be, and hearing them explain what the floats are representing and what marching band this is, that's good.

I watched it on youtube, SO much better, no yak yak yak from the announcers, and NO ads... could actually Hear the marching bands! I think it was from USA today?

A fair question, but who actually watches parades that isn’t geriatric?

Not every broadcaster gives you the same viewing experience. NBC is the official broadcaster of the parade, so they give you the performances and some other things you don't get from the other broadcasters.

Not sure why they wouldn’t have it on peacock, wish they would put the emmys/award shows on there too

Right I understand and if you went to the parade, it would be very difficult to actually fit in a position to see that. I was lucky enough to see the parade in person one year at balloon height and just loved it, could still here the bands.
