Looking for some ideas for a bday for my son. We're looking to do it not at our place and since it's cold we can't really do too much outdoors... So preferably it would be somewhere large.

Trampoline parks are a no no... We were looking at the nature center at maymont as an option but I'm curious what all is out there this time of year.

Maymont nature center. Children's museum. In a mall in chesterfield you can rent the train for your party. Pump it up (indoor bkunce houses). Chuck e cheese is still around. Bowling. One of the art places - like paint your own pottery. SCOR.

My kids really enjoyed a birthday party at Maymont last weekend. My daughter and birthday boy’s big brother were both 6 and they had fun. Checked out the nature center, pet a snake, ate cake, and there you go.

SCOR was great for my sons birthday. They provide a coach and and do all the activities. Price includes like 14 kids, pizza and drinks. I just had to bring cupcakes!

Rockwood Park has a newly remodeled nature center and I bet they could do a birthday party.

Shoofly Farm for a petting zoo/pony ride birthday. They have a barn for eating cake indoors.

Pre-Covid, fire stations let you schedule tours for free. You had to keep in mind that they might have to leave at any time...

Kinda old but Putt-Putt is still a good option as it offers both indoor/outdoor activities in a fenced-in area. We did my sons 7th birthday here. If you want a fancier option do Top Golf and get on the lower right level where they have the putting greens. It’s a bit pricey but not insane.
