It’s okay if we have different senses of humor. Not sure why everyone got so upset about a dumb joke online. It’s not like I was being a dick to someone.

They probably just saw it as an irrelevant comment, not a joke they didn’t find funny. I didn’t recognize it as humorous so I can see the confusion.
