Don't focus too hard on acquiring wealth, but also don't make the mistake of thinking that you can glide through life without a reasonable amount of money.

Don't put off doing things - we are not guaranteed tomorrow.

Take risks, and love deeply, even if it leads to hurt sometimes.

My parents were math teachers. I'm pretty sure they would tell me "We're already behind schedule, let's hit the books!"
