You can also play with them in the pool.

We use them between the storm windows and regular windows in the winter. In the summer, they go under window AC units.

Put them around edges of bed frames and any table corners you can to prevent owies for young kiddos.

If you have a recliner and want to put a one-piece recliner cover on it, you can cut a piece of pool noodle and stuff it in the crack of the chair seat to keep the cover tucked.

I want to build a bait fish pen with those noodles and hoola hoops but haven’t found the hoops at the dollar store yet

As a former bike mechanic I’ll throw this out there: you can probably get foam insulation tubes for free, or at least cheaper than pool noodles, by just going into your local bike store and asking if they’ll spare some insulation. Bikes are shipped in that stuff, and we would only ever reuse a small fraction of it.

I usually filled a big trash can with all that packing material every week. I’d rather just give it to someone who would use it.

Also, get a box of regular noodles for the things pool noodles aren't good for.

We use them as training weapons for the kids in our dojo. Great for teaching blocking.

I made sun flowers with teeth. And carnivorous pods with ball pit balls. Combines with dollar store greenery, I stabbed them into the noodles and stuck the noodles in planters for my skeleton farmer's market. Boney Greenthumbs.

One that is most commonly forgotten but probably BEST use.

Hold it up right outside with your friend doing the same and run around wiggling it yelling "NOODLE PARTY"

Bonus tip. Leave a pile on the grass and see how many passer-bys you can get involved.

Our record is 17 people (mostly neighbourhood kids) One of my personal favourite remedies for depression 😁

You can also host noodle sword-fighting competitions with the neighbors which is pretty sick.

We've used pool noodles to get a good fit for our baby car seats. Can't explain it. My wife did it. I'm sure the technique is on Youtube somewhere.

Slice them lengthwise on one side only. Fit on a hand dolly/handtruck. Tape around the posts. You now have a professional moving dolly. Won't harm any wooden furniture or scratch paint on metal.

They also can childproof corners. You can barricade the underside of your couch so that nothing is kicked or falls under it. You can even use them as pool noodles.

We used them on the rail of my kid's bunkbeds.

Cut one in half vertically with a box cutter and tape it around the corner to prevent wall/corner damage when you're moving big and heavy item around that area.

If you go to the big box stores starting end of July, they will be drastically marked down in price, too!

At my work we have one covering a low ceiling edge near the bottom of the stairs. There’s a long 1/4 wedge cut from the noodle and fit along the edge. The no-noggin’-knockin’ noodle!

For dog owners, pool noodles are a handy substitute for those giant collars that keep the pet from licking a recent surgery. Just cut in a couple sections, put a string thru and voila, you just saved a bunch of money.

I set up tents and bouncehouses for parties. They need to be staked into the earth, but the stakes need to remain partially uncovered for ease of removal

My go-to suggestion for the homeowners that desire to cover them completely (usually for safety) are the good ol- pool noodles!

These things can be used to cover sharp objects or otherwise serve as an impact bracer. Next time i go into a big city im putting rubber chickens and pool noodles around my car - no nicks or dents from careless drivers lol

Prevent door dings. If you have a small garage, hang one on each wall to prevent your car door from hitting the garage door and/or hang one in the middle of your garage to separate your two garaged cars and to prevent door dings from one car to another when opening the doors.
