Hershey’s sucks. Years ago they petitioned congress to allow them to reduce the amount cocoa butter allowed in chocolate. That’s when their candy started tasting like wax. And I stopped eating it.

We had a huge water main break on Hickory in Hampden. It took 4.5 months until it was fixed. Cars were frozen in the ice during Christmas. Thousands of gallons of water were wasted.

My Shiba doesn’t bark much. One night he was going crazy because there was a fox in the yard. It was so entranced that it almost came up on the porch. My dog was clearly singing the song of his people.

Believe or not Joann Fabrics does museum quality framing. They have a beautiful selection mats and frames and they frequently have discounts on framing. It’s been awhile but I had a series framed with silk mats and it was really inexpensive.

I knew the person who did the original decor. His name was Ernie and he managed a thrift store on York Road. I stopped going there years ago because I hated the service and the food wasn’t great. Do miss looking at Ernie’s masterpiece.

I set up payroll for one of the City’s cultural institutions. Half of the payroll was done by the city and half done by my company. This was 20 years ago and people being paid by the city still had hand written time cards back then.
