I’m not sure app subscriptions are transferable from Google play to AppStore. If they are tied to the app store on the individual OS, I don’t see how you could convert. However I am likely wrong.

It’s a matter of personal taste that only you can decide. Just be careful not to regret it. This sub is full of posts from people asking why their new iPhone doesn’t do this’n’that like their old android did.
Android and iOS are different, and the choice is solely yours.

Reply to PSA: If you’ve lost an iPhone and you’re not looking for it anymore, remove it from your account. by FamiliarCatfish
Nah, if someone steals my iPhone and wants to sell it, they can sell it for parts (much less money). I’m not enabling someone to make $100s off of stealing my iPhone.
You want an iPhone? Pay for it like everyone else.

If there were a quicker and easier way to get around it, then what is the point in having it?

Reply to So how do I remove these squares? Like if you zoom in a decent amount there’s a bunch of squares. Solution? by Tyckaom
The higher the resolution of the camera, the farther you can zoom in before the squares (pixels) appear.
Digital cameras do not have infinite resolution. No matter how good the camera, there will eventually be squares.

I’m an older fellow and we are not particularly known for minimalist wallets. I have tried MagSafe wallet before and it was never enough. So I gave in and got a Ridge wallet. Now I don’t half a huge bulge on my butt from a 6 inch thick leather wallet.

That’s the icon for the Apple Store app

I have been using Otterbox cases since my iPhone 4. Dropped phone dozens of times from considerable heights. Have had a phone on my car dash, went around a corner too fast and the phone went flying out the window onto the road.
Never broken a screen, never cracked a case.
I’m currently rocking a clear Otterbox Symmetry with MagSafe on my iPhone 14 Plus.

I was upgrading from an 8 to a new phone. The Pro Max was not available and had a considerable back log wait. So I opted for the 14 Plus. I have been extremely happy with it, am not missing anything that only the Pro offers. It paired well with my watch ultra and AirPods Pro.
So what if I’m not elite with a Pro Max? I’m happy.

Reply to Can we please normalise the fact putting your wet device in rice isn’t a smart idea? Rice isn’t a magical product. Instead put it in a dry area with sufficient airflow! by [deleted]
I have personally used a container of rice to dry a phone out before. As it worked for me quite well, I will continue to maintain the belief in rice as a remedy for wet electronics.
