Bridgewater resident for 22 years. Solid schools, centrally located, varied neighborhoods (some new area, some older), centrally located …. Somerville is the defacto downtown. Housing for NJ is affordable. Politics wise it’s pretty much 50/50 or close to that.

Bedminster is kinda split into two - the super rich and then normal people. Land wise super rich have more. Population wise the normal people have it. There are solid schools here too. The Hills is huge.

The break even point for Uber vs parking keeps getting lower and lower. I think it’s at 3 days for me - three or more “parking days” and it’s cheaper to Uber.

I’ve used the parking spot lot a bunch of times. Definitely much cheaper but waiting for a shuttle is a pain. Also if it snows while you are away you’re digging out.

From where I live it’s $30 RT for a 90 minute ride ride. I’m usually with my entire family. $150 RT for all of us not including any subway ride.

Or I can drive (45-60 min) to where I need to be. $15 toll, $20 gas, $50 for parking.

3+ people in my car and the car is cheaper.
