I will echo a few comments here and what I have told colleagues who have moved from out of the region to the Boston area - if you are not going to be driving back to where you came from or to see family, I’d suggest no car. The T is bad right now, but you can bike or walk most places in the city. The T takes you right to the airport (in my experience the blue line is the best line of the T). It alleviates the headache. If you really need a car you can rent one for far less than the cost of parking your car. The only reason I have mine is I have family who live in New England that is not very accessible by Bus/Train.

The clear #1 answer is Portsmouth.

A distant second would be Manchester, but that is assuming your job is around Elm street and the mill yard. There’s a lot of apartments/condos in that area with walkability/ bikability to stores, restaurants, grocery. I actually know a few folks who live on elm and walk to the mills for work.

Nashua 3rd but the area to work/live is even smaller.

I have no input on the bus system as I have never used it.

As an employee in 75 state the existing roof area was starting to get a little run down and the space didn’t work great. The turf is only part of it, they’ll be putting a bar area out there along with more seating. They want to turn it into an area that tenants can have functions rather than an outdoor space that fills up so quickly most people cannot use a table. Another fun fact they are making an event hall inside too!
